We believe privacy should be simple. Here is exactly what we do — and mostly don't do — with your information.
Nothing personal. The Fibermaxxing Calculator runs entirely in your web browser using JavaScript. When you pick ingredients, set a goal, or load a recipe, that information stays on your device. We do not collect, store, transmit, or have access to:
There is no account, no login, and no user profile.
This site uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to measure anonymous, aggregated usage such as page views, broad region, and device type. GA4 does not identify you personally and has no access to what you build in the calculator — your ingredient choices and fiber totals never leave your device. If we later add advertising such as Google AdSense, those services run under their own privacy policies and we will update this page before that happens.
Our calculator and guide reference public nutrition data (USDA FoodData Central, Mayo Clinic, Monash University, and others). These are reference links; we are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of external sites.

The calculator itself sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Your ingredient choices and goal are kept only in your browser's local storage so the page remembers them next visit; that data never leaves your device and you can clear it anytime from your browser settings.

This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. The tool is intended for adults managing their own diet.
Because we collect no personal data from you, there is nothing of yours for us to delete or export. If you have asked Google Analytics to exclude your own traffic, that choice is respected by their tool. For anything else, reach us on our Contact page.
If our practices change, we will update this page before the change takes effect and note the date. The version you are reading reflects the site as it stands today.
Google Analytics 4 collects anonymous, aggregated data: which pages loaded, roughly what country and device type, and visit counts. It does not receive your ingredient list or fiber totals — those never leave your browser. You can opt out of Google Analytics entirely through Google's own controls; that choice is respected.
We keep no personal data from you, so there is nothing of yours for us to retain or delete. Analytics data is handled by Google under their retention settings, which you can limit from your side.
